Looking to gain confidence behind the wheel this summer? Registration is now open for High Desert Driver Education’s 2026 Summer Driver Education Program.
Classes begin July 6 and are open to high school students throughout the region. Courses will be offered at Caldera, Summit, and Ridgeview High Schools, providing students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to become safe, responsible drivers.
To participate, students must be at least 15 years old and hold a valid driving permit.
Driver education provides more than preparation for a license—it helps students build lifelong habits that promote safety, responsibility, and confidence on the road.
Program tuition is $799. Scholarships of up to $200 may be available for qualifying students.
