Vision Impairment (VI) Services

CORP Vision Program teams up with Oregon Adaptive Sports Association to give students a day of learning on the slopes at Mt. Bachelor.

Same skier as above, what an improvement from the beginning of the day to the end!

This video is of a 3-year-old boy who is blind at Larson Learning Center exploring an ABC toy that has braille added to it.  He is in his 3rd month of preschool and it is wonderful to watch his progress!

The High Desert Educational Service District offers a number of services for children from birth to 21 years who have visual impairments. These services are provided by professional educators who have postgraduate training in education for the visually impaired.  These services include evaluation, assessment, and specialized instruction. Having these services available allows students to get the specialized education and materials they need for successful learning.
