Driver's Education

The High Desert Education Service District is home of the High Desert Drivers Education Program, which provides classroom and hands-on driving instruction to students in Central Oregon. The program is approved by the Oregon Department of Transportation and includes:

• 30 hours of classroom instruction
• 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction
• 6 hours of in-car observation

High Desert Driver Education Program serves students in our local school districts: Bend La Pine, Crook County, Madras, Redmond, and Sisters, as well as private schools and home school students. Read more...
