About CTE Future Leaders

Career and Technical Education in the High Desert helps supports over 5000 students who are working hard to gain skills for both the workforce and future college endeavors in fields like Agriculture, Automotive, Business, Criminal Justice, Culinary, Early Childhood Education, Engineering and Manufacturing, Graphic Design and Video production, and Health. The CTE Future Leaders Program is being implemented to highlight some of our students who are excelling in their classroom, industries of study or student organizations.

The goal of CTE is to have our students leave educated, confident, connected and well prepared to enter a workforce or to continue with higher education in their field of interest. These students are emerging as leaders in their class and future leaders in our communities.

Teachers and/or Administrators will make monthly submissions to highlight their students.  CTE Future Leader nominees will be highlighted throughout the follow month through CTE website, social media and proposed media outlets. Highlight of the student and the program will be shared at the monthly COPA meetings. Students and submitting teacher will receive a certificate.
