Healthy Beginnings receives 2010 Regional Governor's Award

Healthy Beginnings volunteer program has been awarded the 2010 Regional Governor’s Outstanding Volunteer Program Award. This is a wonderful acknowledgement to all the hard working volunteers that have been a part of Healthy Beginnings through the years.

The High Desert Education Service District partners with Healthy Beginnings to ensure that children enter kindergarten healthy and prepared to learn. Services include health, developmental and behavioral screenings for all children birth to 5 years and are provided by professional volunteers and experts. There is no income or insurance requirement for the services. All families are encouraged to schedule a screening.
