Families Get Fit Celebration on Saturday, September 10, 2011
Join Healthy Families of the High Desert as they celebrate families getting healthy through exercise, nutrition and community partnership. Bring the kids and babies and enter the races, win prizes and see the results of families who took the Families Get Fit 12 week challenge.
There will be a Diaper Dash, Toddler Trot, Kid's Canter and much more. In addition to these events, the popular band, "41 East" will be playing some great tunes.

Pilot Butte Park from 11 am to 2 pm
Healthy Families of the High Desert is Deschutes County's Oregon Healthy Start Program. It is a voluntary home visiting program that assists families in giving their newborn children a "healthy start" in life. The program offers weekly intensive home visits for first birth, high-need families and a one-time welcome home visit to all families with newborns.
